High-Level Description:

Senior level Full Stack .NET Developer to work as a small team member building internal and external websites and the associated databases and jobs. May also have the opportunity to learn SSIS for the app.

What kind of developer are we looking for:

We’re looking for someone who understands that attention to detail in every code object and every line of code is the key to producing robust and maintainable applications. This person will be more excited by doing something well than by trying the newest shiny technology object, though we encourage new approaches when they materially improve existing ones. The ideal candidate will not be afraid to defend their ideas but will also be willing to hear criticism of them.

Required intermediate to senior level technical skills:

• C#/MVC/Entity Framework
• SQL programming, including stored procedures
• Javascript/Jquery/CSS/Ajax
• RESTful API
• Bootstrap/Kendo
• DevOps/Continuous Integration
• LINQ
• Solid focus on clear and maintainable object-oriented design with proper separation of concerns

Nice to Have technical skills:

• Automated Unit Tests
• SSIS

General:

• You must be very interested in adhering to and helping to improve the team’s growing library of code patterns, standards, and code generators.
• Must have strong written communication skills and be willing to speak regularly at standups and development calls.
• Must be based in a continental U.S. timezone

Interview Requirements

Candidates must have Visual Studio with local database and SQL Management Studio installed on a machine that they can share during an online interview. There are free versions of all of these and the primary purpose will be to look on as they solve programming problems.
