Microsoft Power Platform Engineer
We are seeking an Experienced Microsoft Power Platform Engineer to join this exciting project in the Insurance sector.
Job Summary
Successful candidates will join our growing Power Platform Center of Excellent. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business and technology partners to design, develop, and support Power Apps and Power Automate solutions and promote and assist Citizen Development efforts. The role focuses on creating high-quality, user-friendly solutions and empowering line-of-business team members through education and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications and automation with Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Support line of business team members through Citizen Development initiatives.
- Create and maintain education and training material for citizen developers.
- Automate workflows and integrate third-party services with Power Platform connectors.
- Collaborate with business units to understand requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across applications and processes.
- Provide ongoing troubleshooting and support for Power Platform solutions.
- Deliver solutions using both Standard and Premium licensing features.
- Coordinate with team members, project management, and internal and external technology partners to meet success and compliance objectives.
- Operate following the client's Policies for the Information Security Program (PISP) and Standards for the Information Security Program (SISP).
- Stay current with industry and security updates and suggest improvements as appropriate.
Qualifications and Experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure integrations.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with low-code/no-code environments and Citizen Development best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple rapidly changing high visibility priorities.
Cyber Security Job Responsibilities:
- Operate under the client's Policies for the Information Security Program (PISP) and Standards for the Information Security Program (SISP)
- Keep up to date with security updates and improvements. Implement improvements as appropriate.
- Protect systems against unauthorized access by appropriately defining access.
- Upgrade systems by implementing and maintaining security and technical controls.
Nice-to-Have:
- RDMS, Snowflake, REST APIs, and SQL
- Power Fx language
- UX/UI Design
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills to engage with key stakeholders and team members.
- Previous consulting or customer-facing role experience is highly valued.
Education and Certifications
- Advanced Microsoft certifications in Power Platform are preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
