Senior Front End Engineer (React, TypeScript, Micro Frontends)

The Opportunity
Join a client facing consulting team as the senior front end engineer on a small product team, working directly with U.S. based engineers on applications for an industry leading client. This is a hands on coding role. You will build and ship features every day while acting as the technical go to for one or two other front end developers: reviewing code, setting standards, and helping teammates get unblocked. There are no direct reports.
You will work in an established Micro Frontend architecture built with React, TypeScript, Material UI, and Redux, integrating with backend REST APIs. A dedicated architecture team supports the platform, so your focus is delivering high quality UI within it and raising the bar for the front end developers around you.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain production UI features in React and TypeScript within a Micro Frontend architecture
- Develop consistent, reusable components with Material UI
- Manage application state with Redux and integrate with backend REST APIs
- Lead code reviews and set front end standards and best practices for the team
- Support and mentor one or two other front end developers day to day
- Partner with the architecture team and U.S. based stakeholders on technical direction
What You'll Bring
- Mastery of React 18 or above and TypeScript in production applications
- Strong hands on experience with Material UI and Redux
- Experience working in a production Micro Frontend codebase (Module Federation, single spa, or similar)
- Demonstrated experience in REST API integration
- A track record as the senior technical voice on a team: code reviews, standards, and helping peers grow
- Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong client interaction capabilities
