Sr. Frontend Engineer - (Angular)
We seek a Frontend Angular Developer with expertise in Angular 18, JavaScript, TypeScript, and RxJS to build a high-performance trading platform in a quality-focused, specialized team.
We are looking for a highly specialized Frontend Developer with deep expertise in Angular 18 (or very recent versions), JavaScript, TypeScript, and RxJS to join our team. You'll play a key role in developing complex, feature-rich UI components for a global trading platform that processes real-time data and supports financial transactions across various markets and instruments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and debug intricate frontend features for a large-scale trading platform.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver new UI functionalities and enhance existing ones.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with a strong focus on quality and performance.
- Conduct and participate in code reviews to ensure high code standards and best practices.
- Address engineering challenges related to complex UI requirements, browser compatibility, and performance optimization.
- Contribute to building internal libraries and toolkits to streamline development and maintain code consistency across teams.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional frontend development experience with a focus on web applications.
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript, with a proven ability to build and debug sophisticated, high-performance applications.
- Deep experience with Angular 18 (or a very recent version); familiarity with advanced Angular concepts is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with RxJS for managing asynchronous data and reactive programming.
- Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in debugging and performance optimization.
- A proactive attitude and a commitment to code quality.
- Experience with automated testing and test-driven development (TDD), with a strong understanding of its role in maintaining high-quality, scalable codebases.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a strong focus on quality.
Preferred but Not Required:
- Experience developing internal libraries or shared codebases, either in a corporate environment or through open-source contributions.
- Expertise in performance optimization for large-scale JavaScript applications.
- An interest in UI/UX design and delivering intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.
- Familiarity with frontend tools such as High-charts or ag-grid (though not essential).
