Senior Supply Chain Data Analyst (Azure, Power BI)
The Opportunity
Join a leading cloud based logistics platform (7,000+ e commerce merchants, backed by top tier investors) as a Supply Chain Data Analyst. You will support two interconnected workstreams: the Analytics team's reporting, dashboarding, and Synapse to Databricks migration, and the Supply Chain Operations team's forecasting, capacity planning, and labor planning data needs. Your work directly influences fulfillment center performance, merchant SLAs, and executive decision making.
What You Will Do
- Write efficient SQL queries and build scalable reporting for supply chain operations and fulfillment center performance.
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for operational visibility across a multi site fulfillment network.
- Investigate and resolve inventory data issues, partnering with stakeholders on sustainable fixes.
- Conduct root cause analysis on operational data to surface issues and improvement opportunities.
- Monitor KPIs across fulfillment accuracy, labor utilization, capacity, and merchant volume.
- Create and maintain Python notebooks in Azure to close data gaps in reporting pipelines.
- Support the Synapse to Databricks migration, including notebook and pipeline migration.
- Support forecasting, labor planning, and capacity planning teams with data validation, model maintenance, and analytical simulations.
- Communicate complex findings clearly to operations leadership, merchant facing teams, and non technical stakeholders.
- Perform ad hoc analyses for evolving needs including peak season planning and network expansion.
What You Will Bring
- 3+ years in data analytics.
- Expert SQL (T SQL preferred) and Power BI.
- Strong Python for analysis, automation, and notebook workflows.
- Experience in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem (Synapse, Databricks, or equivalent).
- Clear communicator who can present to senior operations leadership.
- Detail oriented with strong problem solving skills.
- Proficient in Excel for planning models, reconciliation, and ad hoc analysis.
What Sets You Apart
- Databricks Unity Catalog experience or Synapse to Databricks migration.
- Supply chain, logistics, warehousing, or e commerce fulfillment background.
- Familiarity with FC metrics: labor hours, productivity, UPO, activity based costing, SLA performance.
- Experience in demand forecasting, capacity planning, or labor planning.
- WMS or Salesforce exposure in an operational context.
- Familiarity with Open Metadata or similar data governance tooling.
- AI productivity tool experience (Claude, Copilot, Replit).
- Data warehousing, data modeling, and source of truth reporting knowledge.
- NoSQL exposure (Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis).
