Senior Data Engineer (SQL, Azure, Power BI)

You'll work directly with U.S.-based teams, engaging with industry-leading clients to deliver impactful solutions. Our cloud-based logistics platform is at the forefront of innovation, and you'll play a crucial role in documenting data flows, building robust data models, and transitioning our reporting capabilities to scalable, modern workflows. Leveraging the Azure ecosystem, you'll utilize AI-assisted tools to enhance efficiency and drive data-driven decision-making. This fully remote position offers flexible work arrangements, allowing you to collaborate with top-tier clients while enjoying the freedom of a remote-first environment.

What You'll Bring

Technical Expertise:

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis or data engineering within the Azure tech stack.
  • Proficiency in relational databases, SQL, and Transact-SQL.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Expertise in Power BI, including AI-powered features like Copilot in Power BI, smart narratives, and Q&A visuals.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted tools within the Azure data platform, such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Azure ML.

What Sets You Apart

Optional Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases like Elasticsearch, MongoDB, or Redis.
  • Understanding of financial data and systems, such as NetSuite.

Consulting Experience:

  • Previous experience in a consulting role, demonstrating the ability to deliver high-impact solutions to clients.
