Step into a pivotal role as a Senior Data Engineer with a rapidly expanding cloud-based logistics platform. Here, you'll harness your AI/ML expertise to drive innovation and impact for over 5,500 e-commerce merchants. Collaborating directly with U.S.-based product, engineering, and data science teams, you'll be at the forefront of designing and building AI-powered solutions. This position uniquely blends data engineering with applied AI, as you support a significant infrastructure migration to Databricks and develop the next generation of intelligent, data-driven products. Your work will go beyond traditional data analysis, requiring you to architect and implement AI solutions from the ground up, selecting the optimal tools and frameworks for each unique challenge.
What You'll Bring
Technical Skills and Experience:
- Over 5 years of data engineering experience, ideally within the Azure ecosystem.
- Expertise in SQL, T-SQL, and relational database design.
- Proficiency with Databricks, including the development and optimization of data pipelines.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL/ELT pipeline architecture.
- Proven track record of building AI/ML solutions in production environments, such as NLP/LLM applications, recommendation engines, predictive models, or intelligent search/query tools.
- Experience with data governance and cataloging tools like Open Metadata.
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and tools such as LangChain, Azure OpenAI Service, Azure ML, or HuggingFace.
- Knowledge of data security and access control patterns, especially for multi tenant or customer facing applications.
Professional English Communication:
- Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

- Understanding of financial data and systems, such as NetSuite.
- Experience with AI development tools like Claude, Copilot, Cursor, or Replit for accelerated development workflows.
