Full Stack Developer (Next.js, Supabase)

The Opportunity

Join us in a dynamic consulting role where you'll directly impact industry-leading clients by developing and maintaining innovative solutions. You'll be at the forefront of transforming the Student Life App, a platform that connects students with events, organizations, and the college community. This fully remote position allows you to work with a modern tech stack, including Next.js, Supabase, and Vercel, while collaborating closely with the CTO and the Student Life department. Your work will drive the app's evolution, potentially migrating backend logic to AWS Lambda, and ensure seamless user experiences through robust CI/CD processes with GitHub Actions.

What You'll Bring

  1. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and modern web development principles.
  2. Hands-on experience with Next.js, whether academic or personal.
  3. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and relational databases, particularly Supabase or PostgreSQL.
  4. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  5. Ability to interact effectively with clients and translate their needs into technical solutions.

What Sets You Apart

  1. Experience with Supabase features such as Auth, Storage, and Edge Functions.
  2. Basic Python scripting skills for automation or analytics.
  3. Familiarity with AWS, especially Lambda, or an interest in serverless architecture.
  4. A passion for UX/UI or student engagement technology.
  5. Previous consulting experience that demonstrates your ability to deliver impactful solutions.
