The Opportunity

Join us as a Compliance Lead, where you'll be at the forefront of driving client compliance programs from start to finish. You'll have the chance to work directly with startup founders, engineers, and auditors, delivering our Embedded Compliance plan. This role offers the unique opportunity to lead client engagements for industry-leading frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and GDPR. You'll translate complex compliance requirements into clear, actionable steps, ensuring clients achieve and maintain compliance efficiently. Your work will directly impact our clients' ability to gain and maintain trust with their customers. Collaborate with SCI engineers, penetration testers, and our leadership team to refine internal processes and scale our business.

What You'll Bring

1. 3–5+ years of experience in security, compliance, audit, or risk management.
2. Hands-on familiarity with SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
3. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at explaining technical and regulatory topics to non-experts.
5. Experience with GRC platforms such as Vanta, Drata, Thoropass, SecureFrame, or Tugboat Logic.
6. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup-style environment.
7. At least one security certification.

What Sets You Apart

1. Certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
2. Previous consulting experience with startups or SaaS companies.
3. A technical background in cloud security, IT operations, or DevOps.
