The Opportunity

Join Flylance as a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer and become a pivotal player in our Data Visualization competency. You will lead the charge in developing enterprise data and analytics platforms for industry-leading clients. This role is perfect for a technical expert who can transform complex data into compelling stories that drive business insights. You'll collaborate with a team of BI engineers to deliver advanced Business Intelligence and Reporting solutions, optimizing decision-making processes for our clients. Your work will involve designing innovative methods to enhance the effectiveness of client data, automating processes for seamless analytics, and ensuring data security and quality. You'll also evaluate new data sets for integration and generate documentation to bridge knowledge gaps between business processes and reporting.

What You'll Bring

1. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. Over 5 years of experience in delivering data visualization solutions, including reports and KPIs.
3. At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Tableau development and delivery.
4. Proven expertise in building, testing, automating, and optimizing data connections and reports.
5. Experience developing data visualization solutions in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
6. Strong proficiency in SQL and a deep understanding of data technologies.
7. A solid grasp of data testing techniques and a track record of enhancing software development practices for quality and performance.
8. Familiarity with Scrum, DevOps, and DataOps methodologies, and tools like JIRA.
9. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong presentation abilities to convey technical concepts confidently to diverse audiences.
10. Ability to lead and mentor junior BI Engineers.
