Overview
We seek a skilled BMC Control-M Administrator to join our Tech Ops team. This role involves comprehensive management of our Control-M job scheduling platform, ensuring optimal performance, security, and integration across our enterprise applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Key Responsibilities

Job and Platform Management
- Oversee and administer the BMC Control-M platform, including upgrades, maintenance, and enhancements.
- Manage job scheduling, execution, and monitoring.

Documentation and Training
- Develop and update documentation related to Control-M operations.
- Conduct training sessions to educate internal users on best practices.

Disaster Recovery (DR):
- Ensure a robust Disaster Recovery environment for Control-M is maintained and tested regularly.

Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with various internal teams to optimize job implementations, including jobs as code, calendars, and batch processes.

Performance Optimization:
- Review existing job setups for efficiency and propose enhancements.

Expert Support:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all Control-M related inquiries and issues.

Release Management:
- Facilitate the progression of new jobs through different environments in alignment with our release cycles.

Deployment and Maintenance:
- Deploy necessary software components, including patches, fixes, and general maintenance tasks.

Reporting:
- Provide regular status updates through weekly reports.

Qualifications
- Proven experience with BMC Control-M or similar workload automation tools.
- Strong understanding of job scheduling, automation, and system integration.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
